Tecno has just launched the Spark 9 Pro, which is the company’s latest smartphone in the Spark series, an Helio G85 midrange phone with good battery life.
The Tecno Spark 9 Pro features a display of 6.6 inches display (1080 x 2460 pixels) with an LPS LCD. Powered by an Octa-Core (2×2.0GHz Cortex-A75 A75 + 6×1.8 A55, Mali-G52 MC2) Mediatek Helio.
The Tecno Spark 9 Pro has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is expandable with a microSD card. It runs Android 12 based on HiOS 8.6 out of the box. For security, the device is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The phone offers a triple rear camera. 48-megapixel main camera (wide angle) with Dual-LED flash, panorama, HDR, supports PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), f/1.7 aperture, 2-megapixel depth, and 2-megapixel macro camera, f/2.4 aperture. It supports 1080p video recording at 30 frames-per-second (fps), and the device is fitted with 32-megapixel front-facing camera with a dual-LED flash.
Housed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The charger is included in the box along with a USB A-to-C cable.
The Tecno Spark 9 Pro comes in Quantum Black, Burano Blue, Holy White, and Hacker Storm. Pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed. The phone will be available across several markets in Africa first with a global rollout set to follow.
